Rough Night At Hutt
A southerly storm, which brought rain before the fourth race, affected the crowd and on-course totalisator turn-over at Hutt Park on Saturday. The attendance was 6017, On-course investments amounted to £49,093, including £9041 10s in doubles, compared with £58,780 5s last year. The heavy rain restricted betting on the last three races. Off-course figures showed an increase, amounting to £128,312 10s, including £71,423 10s in doubles, compared with £120,354 10s last year.
