NEW SCHOOL ROOMS

"The Press" Special Service WELLINGTON, Sept. 11. The Belfast School will have a new two-classroom block, together with cloak and toilet facilities. This information was contained in advice from the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella), to Mr H. L. Pickering, M.P. The new accommodation will replace two sub-standard rooms at the school, together with cloak and toilet facilities. This new block will be a step towards the Canterbury Education Board’s aim to bring the Belfast School accommodation more in line with present-day standards. The Minister alto informed Mr Pickering that the finance the Minister had approved would now enable the board to accept a tender for the new block.
