APPOINTED TO BULLS

(N.Z. Press Association! WANGANUI. The Rangitikei Racing Club has appointed M. S'. Andrews, of Palmerston North, resident trainer and caretaker of the Bulls racecourse. Since he retired after a highly successful career as a hurdle and steeplechase jockey in the early 19505, Andrews has trained at Awapuni. One of the best representatives of his stable was the New Zealand Cup winner, Alaska. Andrews succeeds W. L. Aitken, resident trainer at Bulls for four years. Andrews was one of 11 applicants.
