Ultimatum By Union

(N.Z. Press Association)

AUCKLAND, August 30.

Airways passengers will have to find their own way to and from Auckland airport in a fortnight if the Regional Authority refuses a request from the Northern Drivers’ Union for a site at the airport on which to erect a rest room for bus-drivers.

The secretary of the union (Mr G. H. Andersen) said today he had written to the authority requesting that a site be made available. If a satisfactory answer was not received, bus services would cease until the union’s requirements were met.
