Creditors’ Meeting Adjourned
A meeting of the creditors of Robyn Leonard Hunt, a merchant, of the New Brighton Hotel, was adjourned sine die yesterday because there was no quorum. Hunt disclosed unsecured creditors amounting to £842 10s, and total assets of £514 Is IQd, a deficiency of £328 8s 2d, said the Official Assignee (Mr T. A. F. Withers). Mr Withers said Hunt began a motor parts and accessory business in New Plymouth on February 3, 1963, with favourable trading terms. After his first month in business the company had altered his terms from six months to three months, and this, according to Hunt, had thrown his programming “out of gear.” He had been forced to sell most of his stock at prices which covered only the basic price, and, although he sold the business in November, 1963, he had not been able to show a profit.
