Supreme Court PETITION NOT PURSUED

Winding-up Order After being set down as a contested suit, a petition to wind up a geological drilling company, Avon Drilling (N.Z.), Ltd. (Mr D. A. Oldham), was dismissed by Mr Justice Macarthur in the Supreme Court yesterday, on the application of the petitioning creditor, New Zealand Diamond Tools, Ltd. For the latter company, Mr L. M. O’Reilly said it was now felt that it would be in the interests of creditors that Avon Drilling, Ltd., be not wound up.
