Shostakovich Better
(N.Z.P A. -Reuter—Copyright) MOSCOW, August 8. Dmitri Shostakovich aged 59, a Russian composer, has left the Leningrad clinic where he has spent' three months recovering from a heart attack. He said before leaving with his wife and a doctor to continue convalescence in the country that he doubted whether his doctors would let him visit London in October to receive the Royal Philharmonic Society’s gold medal.
