(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. The Southland representative Rugby team maintained | its unbeaten record this seai son with a 25-9 win over Mid- ! Canterbury at Invercargill ; yesterday. Scorers for Southland were IJ. T. Beadley and P. E. Savage two tries each, G. A. Townsend three penalty goals and two conversions. For MidCanterbury A. C. Goodwin and A. Farrell scored tries and A. H. A. Smith kicked a penalty goal. The score at half-time was 9-3 to Southland.
