PAPANUI W.M.C.
Offer For Services The Papanui Working Men’s Club has offered its premises for use for services to the Presbytery of Christchurch. In a letter received at the monthly meeting of the Presbytery yesterday, the club said that its facilities were already being satisfactorily used temporarily by the Roman Catholic Church, and it was interested to find if it could be of use to other denominations. The premises seated 300 and no charge was made to churches using it, the letter said. Some floor cleaning would be necessary. The Presbytery received the letter and referred it to the St. Giles congregation.
