Sentenced On 35 Charges

AUCKLAND, August 2. , Tukurua Pihere, aged 20, a workman, was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment by Mr Justice Gresson on 35 charges, which included 15 charges of burglary and 15 of converting motor-vehicles.

Pihere, also appeared for sentence on a charge of eseaping from custody, one charge of theft one charge of delivering articles to an inmate of an institution and one charge of attempted car conversion and one charge-of breach of probation. He had pleaded guilty to all in the Magistrate’s Court at Aujkkmd.
