Cadet Midshipman R. Nelllgan, the son of Mr J. Nelligan, formerly of Christchurch and now of Wanganui, has been promoted to chief cadet captain at the Royal Australian Navy College, Jervis Bay. This is the senior cadet appointment ■ Cadet Midshipman Nelligan is one of three New Zealand officer cadets who are the top cadets of their Australian military training establishments.
