Investment* with the Totalisator Agency Board on Saturday’s meetings amounted to £408,797 ss, made up of win-and-place bets of £167,326 and £241,471 5s on doubles, compared with £308,745 10s on the corresponding day last year when two meetings were held. Details:— RICCARTON On-course: £52,170 10s. up £15,614. Off-course: £84,539 ss, down £9526 10s. TAUMARUNUI On-course: £78,713, up £22,381 15s. Off-course: £214,00* ss, down £6BO 10s. RANGITIKEI On-course I £36,438 10s, up £10,056. Off-course: £110,248 15s, down £20,969 ss.
