SNATCHEM SUCCEEDS
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BRISBANE. The New Zealander, Snatchem, went a step nearer an A.J.C. Derby start when he won the mile Members’ Novice Handicap at Eagle Farm on Saturday. Starting at 6-4. Snatchem won by three-quarters of a length from Bellair (16/1) with a head to Prince Aimar (15/1). His trainer, H. Best, said Snatchem would have his next start at Eagle Farm at the exhibition meeting in August. He said that if Snatchem ran well he would be a sure Derby runner.
