Fed. Farmers’ New President
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 26. Mr P. S. Plummer was today elected Dominion president of Federated Farmers at the federation’s annual conference in Wellington. A prominent sheep farmer of Waipawa, Hawke’s Bay, Mr Plummer, aged 57, has long been associated with the meat export industry and sheep and beef cattle breeding. He was elected Dominion vice-president in 1960 for a four-year term and was reelected for one year in 1965.
