CLAY TO RETIRE

Five More Fights (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) The world heavy-weight boxing champion, Cassius Clay, hopes to retire undefeated after five more title defences. After his preparation yesterday for his defence against Britain’s Brian London at Earls Court on August 6, Clay said: “As soon as I lose, I retire. I’ll never make a come-back. “To Brian London, I say, be cool, because you are no fool. But I would say, go back to your stool in a boxing school.” Clay has sweated his weight down to 14st lOJlb—still 51b heavier than when he beat Henry Cooper in May.
