Griffith To Fight Tiger
(N.Z.P.A.‘Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. The world middle-weight boxing champion, Emile Griffith, will defend his title against the Nigerian, Dick Tiger, at Wembley, London,’ on November 22. The promoter, Jack Solomons, said today that the only outstanding problem to be solved was whether the fight could be shown via Early Bird satellite to the United States. “The managers of both boxers have agreed to my terms,” he said.
