Interested In Proposals

(M.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association is interested in suggestions for a biennial United States-Common-wealth athletic meeting. United States athletic officials are discussing the possibility of a regular match along the lines of the international meeting at Los Angeles last week-end. The N.Z-A.A.A. chairman, Mr H. I. Austad, said yesterday his association would seriously consider concerted proposals for regular meetings, but from a New Zealand point of view travel and finance would be the biggest problems.

The N.Z.A.A.A. favoured all the international competition it could get for its athletes, he said.
