Furnace Explodes
fN.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 26. Two men were burned when a furnace exploded at the premises of D. Henry, Ltd., in Avondale this afternoon. Mr B. Howell, aged 19, of Herne Bay, was admitted to hospital with severe burns to the head, face, arm and chest. His condition tonight was described as quite satisfactory. The other man, Mr C. Mann, of Swanson, was treated for bums to the face and discharged.
