Dr. Tsai Wei-Ping, the newly-appointed Ambassador from Formosa, presented his letter of credence today to the Governor-General (Sir Bernard Fergusson).—(P.A.) The Director of Primary Education (Mr B. M. Pinder) yesterday visited a number of Christchurch schools and addressed the North Canterbury Headmasters’ Association on curriculum development.
Messrs A. E. Soderberg (St Albans), R. C. Wells and R. H. Miles (both of Headquarters), firemen-drivers of the Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Brigade, have been promoted to station officers.
