Three Houses Sold
Two houses were sold on account of the mortgagees at public auction on Thursday. A weatherboard bungalow, about five years old, at 86 Staveley street, Avonhead, realised £3050. The auctioneer was Mr D. C. Wilson. The house has two bedrooms, a livingroom, and a kitchenette-diningroom. The property is let at £5 10s a week. A weatherboard bungalow, requiring renovation, at 4 Breezes road, Aranui, was sold for £3099. The auctioneer was Mr P. T. Battersby. The house, on a section of 24.4 perches, has three bedrooms, a lounge, and a kit-chen-dinette. A house at 35 Clifford avenue, Fendalton, has been sold by private treaty by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. The property was passed in at £5BOO when offered at auction recently.
