£160,675 New Projects
New capital work at the Christchurch Airport this year are estimated to cost £160.675 with £50,000 for the Airwork hanger, a similar amount for the Department of Civil Aviation hostel and £21,000 for the Air New Zealand freight building the major items. The airport estimates presented to tite City Council last evening also showed, an estimated capital expenditure of £184225 this year on works from last year and previous years. A summary showed the estimated pool expenditure at £488,600, with pool receipts at £236,000. There wffi be no call on the general j»tea to meet the coundl’a share.
