Italian Offer Of Trotters
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. Italian trotting officials had offered to export horses to compete in Australia, the vice-pre-sident of the New South Wales Trotting Club (Mr C. S. McCallum) said yesterday. The Australian club had for several weeks discussed the proposal which came from Mr U. Branchini, manager of the boxer, Salvatore Burruni, when he was in Australia last November, Mr McCallum said.
He said the Italian trotters probably would arrive in Australia early next year.
