Rifle Shooting Oakes Shield To Sydenham
In a challenge match for the Canterbury Rifle Association’s Oakes Shield, Sydenham (the holder) easily beat the Christchurch club’s team by 18 points. Six members in the Sydenham side scored 106 points more out of a possible 105. Possibles of 35 were put on by R. East, A. Nichol l ! and S. Fitchett, the latter scoring two. For Christchurch V.
