TRAWLER READY

Launched In Norway (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 8. The first of two 138 ft stern trawlers being built for New Zealand Sea Products Export, Ltd., the Sea Harvester I, has been launched at Trondheim, Norway. A cable received in Wellington from the managing director of Sea Products (Mr J. C. Treadwell), who is in Norway, said the launching and naming of the 400-ton trawler was performed by Mrs Willock, wife of the Norwegian Minister of Commerce. The trawler is now to be fitted out with British-built diesel engines and the latest type of trawling and fishfinding and processing gear, as well as an unusually high strndard of crew accommodation and facilities.
