Experimenting With Rule

(N.Z.. Press Association) I AUCKLAND. An experimental change in the Rugby League play-the-ball rule will be tried at the Waikato Maoris v. Pakehas game at Huntly on Anzac Day. A team awarded a penalty kick from a play-the-ball will be allowed to kick the ball out on the full and then start play again with a play-the-ball. At present the team that kicks the ball out from a penalty has the loose head and the ball at the scrum that follows.
