School Fee To Be Increased

Pupils at the Shirley Boys’ High School will pay £1 a year more in school fees next year. This was decided by the school’s board of governors last evening. The fee will be £3, with a maximum of £4 a family. The headmaster (Mr C. V. Gallagher) said that the recommendation had come from the parent-teacher association.
