(N.Z P A -Reuter—Copyright) COLUMBUS (Ohio), April 11.

Mrs Jerrie Mock, aged 40, landed at Columbus last night after breaking a 3671-mile, 28-year-old endurance record for women, set by three Russians. Mrs Mock flew solo around the world in 1964, flew nonstop from Honolulu to Columbus—4sso miles.

The mother of two grown boys and a young girl, and grandmother of one, did the 31-hour flight on three ham sandwiches and a thermos flask of water.

She had 450 gallons of extra fuel in the passenger compartment of her six-seater Cessna Super Skyland.
