The Rev. H. M. Oatway has been appointed vicar of Cheviot. His appointment was announced by the Bishop of Nelson (the Rt. Rev. P. E. Sutton). Mr Oatway has been vic_r of Wairau Valley for the last five years. He was a curate at the Nelson Cathedral from 1958 to 1960, and has served as an officiating chaplain to the R.N.Z.A.F. at Woodbourne.
