Chamber Appoints Delegates

The council of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce appointed Messrs A. R. Mackay and R. B. Me Nish, with Mr J. M. Tocker as an emergency, to represent the chamber on a deputation to the Ministers concerned on the subject of Mount Cook development. The deputation is to consist of two representatives each from the chamber, the Canterbury Progress League, and the South Island Publicity Association. It will press for urgent action on resolutions on the future of the Mount Cook area, agreed on by representatives of the three bodies at a recent meeting.
