Death Penalty Stands
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyrights OTTAWA, April 6. The Canadian House of Commons last night rejected a proposal calling for complete abolition of the death penalty. The vote was 143 to 112. Earlier the House defeated a proposal to abolish hanging for a five-year trial period.
