Champions May Tour

The famous English soccer dub, Manchester United, may play matches in New Zealand in 1967. The annual meeting of the N.Z.F.A. in Welling, ton on Saturday was told that Manchester United was likely to tour Australia next year and that under the arrangements recently agreed between the two countries, the Australian Soccer Federation would negotiate for New Zealand to be included in the tour.

The Manchester club won the English League championship last season and has qualified for the semi-finals of this year’s European Champions’ Cup competition.
