RESISTANCE BY DUTCH

Invitation To See Filin

Dutch resistance fighters, especially those who fought in the Friesland area, are being sought by the manager of the Hollywood Theatre at Sumner (Mr J. Sullivan). Mr Sullivan said that they would be invited to the first South Island screening of a new film dealing with a true story of the Dutch resistance.

The film, “The Silent Raid,” was presented as a Royal premiere in Holland and, as well as members of the Dutch Royal family, 17 members who took part in the raid were also present.
