Nominees Not Yet Approved
No advice has yet been received from the N.Z.B.C. as to the approval of the two teen-age members proposed for the Southern Regional Programme Advisory Committee, the chairman of the committee (Mr W. R. Lascelles) said last evening. The committee has 15 memlei's at present, and if the two selected teen-agers are approved, will have 17. Mr Lascelles said the committee was considering other nominees to make the number up to the 20 allowed. It was hoped they would be persons who would “round out” the committee so that it represented ail sections of the community.
