Mr R. W. Greenough, a member of the Dairy Board, and chairman of the board’s milk powder committee has left New Zealand by air accompanied by Mr S. T. Murphy, the board’s director of marketing, for the United Kingdom to study the market for milk powders. They will meet agents and buyers in Europe and the United States and will return to New Zealand about the middle of April.—<P.A.) Mr T. M. Hill was elected vice-president of the Wellington Trades Council at its annual meeting last night. He succeeds Mr F. Fenton who has gone to Auckland. Mr J. E. Napier was re-elected president. —(P.A.) Mr H. F. P. Hayman has been appointed a member of the board of governors of Papanui High School, replacing Mrs K. A. Hamilton, who has resigned.
