Comparini’s New Time (N.Z. Preu Association) NELSON. The Nelson cyclist, D. A. Comparini, broke his own New Zealand junior 4000 metres pursuit record at Trafalgar Park. His time of smin 12.2 sec bettered his qualifying time of smin 13sec at the national track championships in Christchurch earlier this month. The 18-year-old Comparini is one of 20 riders named for the Commonwealth Games trials in Auckland next month. At New Plymouth, another games trialist, J. A.
