Abortion Sentence

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 2. Shirley William Mack, aged 61, was sentenced by Mr Justice Perry today to two and a half years’ imprisonment on each of six charges of unlawful use of an instrument. The sentences are to be served concurrently. Mack, who had denied the charges had been previously found guilty on ail six charges by a jury. “You are before me on,six counts of procuring abortion concerning five girts and the time covered by the charges Is over three years,” said his Honour.
