Western Gale Relegated

(N.Z. Press Association) GORE. G. O. Finn, rider of Western Gale in the Apprentice’s Junior Hack Handicap on the second day of the Gore Racing Club's meeting on Saturday, was charged with causing interference tn Happy Day (A. K. Robinson) with resultant interference to Savings Bank. After an inquiry the judicial committee found that interference had taken place and Western Gale, which finish second, was relegated to third place and Happy Day promoted to second. As Western Gale had stumbled at that stage the committee dismissed the charge of interference against Finn.
