Found Guilty Of Indecency

After standing trial by jury in the Supreme Court yesterday on two charges of indecent assault on young children, Frederick Arthur Rumble, aged 60, a secondhand dealer, was acquitted of indecent assault on a seven-year-old girl, but found guilty of indecent assault on a nine-year-old boy. Mr Justice Wilson remanded him in custody for sentence on February 16. Mr B. J. Drake defended Rumble, and Mr C. M. Roper prosecuted.
