Four Record Swims (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. In all four events that the touring American girl swimmers competed last night at Invercargill, New Zealand short-course records were bettered. The feature race was the 220 yards breaststroke in which the 20-year-old Cynthia Goyette, a gold medal winner at Tokyo, easily outswam her team-mate, Jane Barkman, to win in 2min 51.3 sec, ssec better than the national shortcourse record.
