Typhoid Case

(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 10. An eight-year-old boy from Manaia, South Taranaki, has been treated for typhoid fever at the Hawera Hospital since the middle of January. This was revealed at tonight’s Manaia Town Council meeting by the District Health Inspector, Mr M. Cassidy. All precautions, including the isolation of members of three households in the town, had been taken to limit the spread of the fever, said Mr Cassidy.
