Dividend After Six Years

(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Jan. 20. After six years of operation, the Alliance Freezing Company, Ltd., is able to recommend its first dividend. The directors are recommending payment of a dividend of 6 per cent on paidup capital. The chairman of directors <Mr H. P. Mclntyre) announced in a preliminary report today that the company’s net profit for the year ended September 30, 1965, was £210,279. Mr Mclntyre, in reviewing the company’s progress, expressed his satisfaction at the company’s ability to return a dividend to shareholders after six years of operation. The support of shareholders had materially assisted in obtaining these results, he said.
