SPRINGFIELD.—The fine old homestead on the Springfield property near Methven. It was built by Mr Duncan Cameron, who once held 18,000 acres of land in the area. One of Mr Cameron’s daughters was the mother of Mr Duncan Sandys, the former British Foreign Secretary. The property, now of 625 acres, changed hands again late last year.
