6 No Easy Solution’ (N Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) PARIS, Jan. 19. The French Foreign Minister, Mr Maurice Couve de Murville, reported to President de Gaulle and the Cabinet today that the settlement of the Common Market crisis will not be easy.

France found more hostility than expected at the special European community meeting in Luxembourg this week. Ministers from France's five Common Market partners will today debate in Strasbourg the six-month-old crisis in the community and the chances of solving it with members of the European Parliament. The Ministers are expected to report on the Ministerial meeting of the “six” in Luxembourg which ended in deadlock on the basic political problems dividing France from her partners.
