Conservation Study
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 17. Members of the Victorian Parliamentary Works Committee arrived in Auckland today to make a close study of New Zealand’s water conservation methods. A member of the five-man committee, Mr J. B. Holden, said his group was interested in seeing how New Zealand authorities combined lumbering, recreation and water supply. Victoria at present has a closed catchment system. The committee will visit both the North and South Islands in a three-week tour.
