NEW C.B.C. CHAIRMAN
Mr G. B. Kater Appointed Mr G. B. Kater has been appointed chairman of the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney, Ltd, He succeeds Mr D. R. Lysaght, who has reached the age limit for a chairman imposed by the bank’s articles of association. Mr Lysaght will remain a director. Mr Kater has resigned from the board of Talcott Factors Ltd., Sydney-based discounting and finance companies, because of the interests making increasing demands on his time. He was chairman of Talcott, which is 20.3 per cent owned by the C.B.C. Mr L. Ferris-Scott has been appointed chairman, and Mr H. E. F. Kater has been appointed a director of Talcott.
