MODEL GIFT FROM A LORD JUSTICE OF APPEAL.—When the Shaw Savill liner Megantic arrives at Lyttelton today she will have on permanent display in the officers’ smokeroom this model of the ship. It is a gift from one of the Lord Justices of Appeal in England, Sir Harold Danckwerts, a well-known ship-lover whose hobby is model-making. He visited the Megantic in London before the ship left, and presented his model to the master, Captain W. J. Stanger.
