BRONZE FALCON FINE PROSPECT

“The Press’* Special Service

AUCKLAND. Bronze Falcon looks a fine prospect for the F. J. Smith Memorial, the first leg of the T.A.B. double on the second night of the Cambridge Trotting Club's meeting tomorrow. The race has drawn a good field of 2min 16sec class pacers. There is sure to be strong backing for Lonesome Valley, Chequer Board, Scotch Song and Song Dale. All the best northern trotters are engaged in the second leg, the McMillan Free-For-All. The field also includes the New Zealand mile record-holder. Control, and the speedy Wellington mare, Highland Countess. Control is fancied to win. He showed a lot of speed in his races at the Auckland Trotting Cup meeting but had little luck in the running.
