PEN PALS

The Victoria League in London arranges pen friends for girls and boys from 8 to 16 years of age who wish to correspond with young people of similar interests in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The organiser, Mrs Helen Cowan, says there are more requests for pen friends in New Zealand, particularly in country districts, than she can meet. Those interested should write to Mrs H. Cowan, Honorary Secretary, Pen Friends’ Section. Victoria League House, 38 Chesham Place, London S.W.I. They are asked to state, in block letters, their surname, one Christian name, whether boy or girl (pen friends are arranged only between the same sex), age. home address, and a note on interests.
