Shop Holidays
All city, suburban and New Brighton shops will close at 9 p.m. tomorrow for the New Year holidays. New Brighton shops will reopen on Tuesday, and city and suburban shops on Wednesday. New Brighton shops will not open on Saturday, because it is a statutory holiday. No fresh bread will be baked or delivered on January 1,2, and 3. Most butchers will close at 5 p.m. tomorrow and will not reopen till Wednesday. Some supermarkets will sell meat until 9 p.m. tomorrow.
