I. Ballinger Wins Provincial Title

I. Ballinger won the Canterbury championship at the Canterbury Rifle Association meeting at West Melton, beating A. F. Paynter of Blenheim by five points.

The winner of the veterans’ match, K. R. Foster, of Waiau, also won the B Grade from R. McCosh, of Christchurch. The C grade winner was W. Nelson, of Karori. with G, Bishop, of Ashburton, runnerup. Miss I. McKay won the Frank Black Trophy.
